Kentucky High School Basketball - Spencer County crushes Shelby County

January 13, 2023: Shelbyville, KY 40065

Spencer County Bears (Taylorsville, KY) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Shelby County Rockets (Shelbyville, KY), 50-29 in a league bout.

With the win, Spencer County upgrades its record to 12-3 on the season. The Bears host Owen County (Owenton, KY) to play the Rebels in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 14. The Rebels go into the bout with a record of 12-6. Owen County won 72-40 in their recent league bout against Trimble County (Bedford, KY)

Next up, the Rockets play the Thomas Nelson Generals (Bardstown, KY) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 17. Shelby County will attempt to upgrade on its 5-7 season record.
