The Spencer County Bears topped the visiting Shelby County Rockets basketball team by a final score of 45-26 in Wednesday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Bears face the Anderson County Bearcats (Lawrenceburg, KY) in a non-league game, on Friday, February 24. Spencer County will attempt to move on its 24-7 season record. The Bearcats enter the game with a 25-6 record after their 54-12 non-league win over Collins (Shelbyville, KY).

With the defeat, Shelby County moves to 9-11 on the year.
