In Friday's league outing, the South Columbus Stallions (Tabor City, NC) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting West Columbus Vikings (Cerro Gordo, NC), by a count of 49-17.
The Stallions (4-10) will now prepare for their outing against East Columbus (Lake Waccamaw, NC). The Gators go into the 1A/2A Conference 5 outing with a 8-6 record. In their last outing, East Columbus smashed Heide Trask (Rocky Point, NC), 59-20, in a league outing.
The Vikings now hold a 0-12 record. They play next when they host Pender for a 1A/2A Conference 5 outing on Friday, January 20.
