Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the South Columbus Stallions (Tabor City, NC) and the host West Columbus Vikings (Cerro Gordo, NC), saw South Columbus's basketball squad wallop West Columbus by a tally of 42-12.

With the victory, South Columbus improves its record to 5-13 on the campaign. The Stallions travel to Heide Trask (Rocky Point, NC) to play the Titans in a 1A/2A Conference 5 challenge on Friday, February 3. The Titans come into the challenge with a record of 3-17. Heide Trask lost 34-33 in their recent non-league challenge against Wallace-Rose Hill (Teachey, NC)

Next up, the Vikings play the Whiteville Wolfpack (Whiteville, NC) in a 1A/2A Conference 5 challenge, on Friday, February 3. West Columbus will attempt to improve on its 0-16 season record. The Wolfpack come into the challenge with a 10-8 record after their 54-22 non-league win over South Brunswick (Southport, NC).
