In Friday's league outing, the Starmount Rams (Boonville, NC) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Alleghany Trojans (Sparta, NC), by a margin of 45-18.
The Rams (8-4) will now prepare for their outing against Forbush (East Bend, NC). The Falcons go into the non-league outing with a 1-11 record.
The Trojans now own a 0-6 record. They play next when they travel to Mount Airy for a non-league outing on Tuesday, January 17. Alleghany will clash with a Granite Bears squad coming off a 45-35 non-league win over Elkin (Elkin, NC). The Granite Bears record now stands at 2-7.
