The Alleghany Trojans basketball team (Sparta, NC), was toppled 49-36 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting Starmount Rams (Boonville, NC)
The Rams now possess a 11-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to East Wilkes for a non-league battle on Friday, February 10. Starmount will confront a Cardinals team coming off a 48-32 non-league win over North Stokes (Danbury, NC). The Cardinals record now stands at 16-5.
The Trojans (0-15) will now prepare for their battle against Mount Airy (Mount Airy, NC). The Granite Bears come into the non-league battle with a 3-16 record.
