The West Craven Eagles (Vanceboro, NC) basketball crushed the host North Pitt Panthers (Bethel, NC), 65-22 in Friday's non-league test.
The Eagles (10-3) will now prepare for their test against SouthWest Edgecombe (Pinetops, NC). The Cougars go into the non-league test with a 6-6 record. In their last test, SouthWest Edgecombe walloped Tarboro (Tarboro, NC), 65-62, in a non-league test.
The Panthers now own a 5-10 record. They play next when they travel to Greene Central for a non-league test on Friday, January 20. North Pitt will encounter a Rams squad coming off a 71-70 non-league loss to Farmville Central (Farmville, NC). The Rams record now stands at 15-1.
