The Lund Mustangs basketball team scored 70 points and restricted the host Wells Leopards to 54 in the Mustangs league victory on Saturday.

The Mustangs now sport a 10-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Eureka for a 1A East contest on Tuesday, January 16. Lund will battle a Vandals team coming off a 70-11 league win over Wells (Wells, NV). The Vandals record now stands at 12-0.

The Leopards (7-6) will now prepare for their contest against Jackpot (Jackpot, NV). The Jaguars come into the 1A East contest with a 4-3 record. In their last contest, Jackpot was defeated by Lund (Lund, NV), 43-40, in a league contest.
