The Lund Mustangs basketball team scored 65 points and held the visiting Wells Leopards to 39 in the Mustangs league triumph on Saturday.

The Mustangs now sport a 14-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Eureka for a 1A East contest on Tuesday, February 6. Lund will battle a Vandals team coming off a 67-39 league win over Jackpot (Jackpot, NV). The Vandals record now stands at 19-0.

The Leopards (10-10) will now prepare for their contest against Jackpot (Jackpot, NV). The Jaguars enter the 1A East contest with a 6-8 record. In their last contest, Jackpot was routed by Eureka (Eureka, NV), 67-39, in a league contest.
