Nevada High School Basketball - Spring Creek ripped by Fernley

The Fernley Vaqueros basketball team scored 54 points and held the visiting Spring Creek Spartans to 22 in the Vaqueros league triumph on Saturday.
The Vaqueros now sport a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Churchill County for a contest on Wednesday, January 17. Fernley will battle a Greenwave team coming off a 46-34 non-league win over Lowry (Winnemucca, NV). The Greenwave record now stands at 4-4.
The Spartans (3-3) will now prepare for their contest against Elko (Elko, NV). The Indians enter the contest with a 8-1 record. In their last contest, Elko triumphed over Dayton (Dayton, NV), 54-10, in a non-league contest.
