Nevada High School Basketball - Spring Creek knocked off by Fernley

The Fernley Vaqueros basketball team scored 45 points and held the host Spring Creek Spartans to 28 in the Vaqueros league triumph on Saturday.
The Vaqueros now sport a 14-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Churchill County for a contest on Friday, February 9. Fernley will meet a Greenwave team coming off a 36-32 league loss to Lowry (Winnemucca, NV). The Greenwave record now stands at 7-8.
The Spartans (4-7) will now prepare for their bout against Elko (Elko, NV). The Indians come into the bout with a 15-2 record. In their last bout, Elko toppled Dayton (Dayton, NV), 56-23, in a league bout.
