The Bell County Bobcats basketball squad (Pineville, KY), was nudged 63-60 in Monday's league battle with the visiting Harlan County Black Bears (Harlan, KY)
With the victory, Harlan County advances its record to 11-4 on the year. The Black Bears travel to Middlesboro (Middlesboro, KY) to meet the Yellowjackets in a District 52 battle on Friday, January 17. The Yellowjackets enter the battle with a record of 2-5.
The Bobcats now own a 13-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Madison Southern for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 14. Bell County will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 73-66 non-league loss to Clay County (Manchester, KY). The Eagles record now stands at 6-7.
