The Bell County Bobcats (Pineville, KY) basketball edged the host Harlan County Black Bears (Harlan, KY), 54-52 in Tuesday's league bout.
The Bobcats now possess a 22-4 record. They play next when they travel to Knox Central for a non-league bout on Friday, February 7. Bell County will play a Panthers team coming off a 76-70 non-league win over Clay County (Manchester, KY). The Panthers record now stands at 13-4.
With the loss, Harlan County falls to 17-7 on the campaign. The Black bears host Middlesboro (Middlesboro, KY) to play the Yellowjackets in a District 52 bout on Friday, February 7. The Yellowjackets go into the bout with a record of 4-10.
