The Calvary Christian Academy Knights basketball team scored 48 points and limited the visiting DeLand-Weldon Eagles to 42 in the Knights non-league triumph on Monday.

The Knights now have a 5-12 record. They play next when they travel to Galesburg Christian for a non-league game on Tuesday, January 14. Calvary Christian Academy will confront a Lions team coming off a 49-45 league win over Pathway Christian (Kalona, IA). The Lions record now stands at 5-5.

With the loss, DeLand-Weldon falls to 1-12 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Edinburg (Edinburg, IL) to meet the Wildcats in a non-league match on Thursday, January 16. The Wildcats enter the match with a record of 16-2. Edinburg won 68-60 in their recent non-league match against Litchfield (Litchfield, IL)
