In Monday's non-league contest, the visiting West Rutland Golden Horde basketball team scored a big 75-21 triumph over the Mill River Minutemen.
The Golden Horde (9-1) will now prepare for their contest against Grace Christian (Bennington, VT). The Lions go into the Southern Vermont - D contest with a 6-2 record. In their last contest, Grace Christian smashed Long Trail (Dorset, VT), 53-46, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Minutemen confront the Poultney Blue Devils (Poultney, VT) in a Southern Vermont - D contest, on Saturday, January 18. Mill River will attempt to better on its 1-9 season record. The Blue Devils go into the contest with a 5-6 record after their 66-33 league win over Sharon Academy (Sharon, VT).
