Alabama High School Basketball - Pickens County succumbs to South Lamar

In Monday's league test, the South Lamar Stallions (Millport, AL) basketball squad defeated the host Pickens County Tornadoes (Reform, AL), by a final score of 50-37.
Next, the Stallions clash with the Caledonia Cavaliers (Caledonia, MS) in a non-league test, on Thursday, January 16. South Lamar will attempt to upgrade on its 12-11 season record. The Cavaliers come into the test with a 15-4 record after their 73-26 league loss to Kosciusko (Kosciusko, MS).
The Tornadoes (1-9) will now prepare for their test against Gordo (Gordo, AL). The Green Wave come into the non-league test with a 6-7 record. In their last test, Gordo went down by Oakman (Oakman, AL), 49-26, in a league test.
