The crowd at Monday's league challenge between the Easton Bears (Easton, ME) and the visiting Washburn Beavers (Washburn, ME), observed Easton's basketball team overcome Washburn by a margin of 29-20.

The Bears (1-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Hodgdon (Hodgdon, ME). The Hawks come into the non-league challenge with a 4-6 record. In their last challenge, Hodgdon defeated Washburn (Washburn, ME), 51-31, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Beavers battle the Central Aroostook Panthers (Mars Hill, ME) in a D North challenge, on Monday, January 20. Washburn will attempt to better on its 6-3 season record.
