Washburn Beavers (Washburn, ME) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting Easton Bears (Easton, ME), 42-36 in a league match.
With the victory, Washburn upgrades its record to 9-7 on the year. The Beavers host Wisdom (St. Agatha, ME) to face the Pioneers in a D North match on Thursday, February 6. The Pioneers enter the match with a record of 16-2. Wisdom won 58-12 in their recent league match against Van Buren (Van Buren, ME)
The Bears now sport a 4-13 record.
