Nebraska High School Basketball - Freeman nips Johnson County Central

In Monday's non-league contest, the host Freeman Falcons basketball team scored a close 45-38 win over the Johnson County Central Thunderbirds.

The Falcons (10-2) will now prepare for their contest against Sacred Heart (Falls City, NE). The Irish come into the non-league contest with a 12-1 record. In their last contest, Sacred Heart edged Exeter-Milligan/Friend (Exeter, NE), 47-39, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Thunderbirds battle the Weeping Water Indians (Weeping Water, NE) in a D1 District 1 contest, on Tuesday, January 21. Johnson County Central will attempt to better on its 7-5 season record.
