The Freeman Falcons nipped the host Johnson County Central Thunderbirds basketball squad by a final score of 40-39 in Thursday's league outing.

Next, the Falcons face the Southern Raiders (Wymore, NE) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, January 7. Freeman will attempt to upgrade on its 8-1 season record. The Raiders enter the outing with a 1-8 record after their 42-41 non-league loss to Weeping Water (Weeping Water, NE).
