Ohio High School Basketball - Western Reserve can't hold off Springfield

Springfield Tigers (New Middletown, OH) boosters left the game satisfied Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting Western Reserve Blue Devils (Berlin Center, OH), 43-41 in a league match.

With the victory, Springfield upgrades its record to 7-7 on the year. The Tigers travel to Jackson-Milton (North Jackson, OH) to face the Bluejays in a Mahoning Valley - Scarlet match on Thursday, January 16. The Bluejays enter the match with a record of 6-8. Jackson-Milton lost 65-24 in their recent league match against Mineral Ridge (Mineral Ridge, OH)

The Blue Devils now sport a 9-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Columbiana for a non-league match on Monday, January 20.
