Ohio High School Basketball - Western Reserve falls to Springfield

The Western Reserve Blue Devils basketball squad (Berlin Center, OH), was outscored 56-45 in Saturday's league battle with the visiting Springfield Tigers (New Middletown, OH)

With the victory, Springfield advances its record to 10-7 on the year. The Tigers travel to Lowellville (Lowellville, OH) to meet the Rockets in a Mahoning Valley - Scarlet battle on Tuesday, January 28. The Rockets enter the battle with a record of 8-8. Lowellville won 52-36 in their recent league battle against Jackson-Milton (North Jackson, OH)

The Blue Devils now own a 10-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Memorial for a Mahoning Valley - Scarlet battle on Monday, January 27. Western Reserve will meet a Red Devils squad coming off a 37-20 non-league win over Valley Christian (Youngstown, OH). The Red Devils record now stands at 2-13.
