In Monday's non-league test, the Rio Rancho Rams (Rio Rancho, NM) basketball squad trounced the visiting Volcano Vista Hawks (Albuquerque, NM), by a final score of 48-26.
Next, the Rams clash with the La Cueva Bears (Albuquerque, NM) in a non-league test, on Wednesday, January 15. Rio Rancho will attempt to upgrade on its 11-0 season record.
The Hawks (3-1) will now prepare for their test against Sandia (Albuquerque, NM). The Matadors come into the non-league test with a 2-4 record. In their last test, Sandia was overwhelmed by Eldorado (Albuquerque, NM), 49-42, in a non-league test.
