Georgia High School Basketball - Bacon County thwarts Atkinson County

January 14, 2023: Pearson, GA 31642

The Bacon County Raiders (Alma, GA) basketball knocked off the host Atkinson County Rebels (Pearson, GA), 88-75 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Raiders (4-7) will now prepare for their test against Irwin County (Ocilla, GA). The Indians go into the A D1 Region 1 test with a 4-8 record.

The Rebels now own a 3-14 record. They play next when they travel to Jeff Davis for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 17. Atkinson County will encounter a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 73-62 league loss to Cook (Adel, GA). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 3-12.
