The Midland Mustangs basketball team (Pleasant Plains, AR), was overwhelmed 69-36 in Saturday's league battle with the host Brinkley Tigers (Brinkley, AR)
The Tigers now possess a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Clarendon for a 1A Region 5 battle on Wednesday, January 18. Brinkley will battle a Lions team coming off a 74-49 league win over Midland (Pleasant Plains, AR). The Lions record now stands at 8-2.
The Mustangs (0-11) will now prepare for their battle against Bradford (Bradford, AR). The Eagles come into the 1A Region 5 battle with a 3-14 record.
