Brinkley Tigers (Brinkley, AR) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Midland Mustangs (Pleasant Plains, AR), 66-34 in a league bout.

With the victory, Brinkley upgrades its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Lee (Marianna, AR) to play the Trojans in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 15. The Trojans come into the bout with a record of 2-0.

Next up, the Mustangs play the Bradford Eagles (Bradford, AR) in a 1A Region 5 bout, on Wednesday, December 14. Midland will attempt to upgrade on its 0-6 season record.
