Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Penobscot Valley Howlers (Howland, ME) and the visiting Greenville Lakers (Greenville, ME), saw Penobscot Valley's basketball squad overcome Greenville by a tally of 45-32.

With the victory, Penobscot Valley improves its record to 5-5 on the campaign. The Howlers travel to Stearns (Millinocket, ME) to confront the Minutemen in a C North challenge on Wednesday, January 18. The Minutemen come into the challenge with a record of 2-5.

Next up, the Lakers confront the Valley Cavaliers (Bingham, ME) in a D South challenge, on Tuesday, January 17. Greenville will attempt to improve on its 3-7 season record.
