The Grundy County Yellowjackets basketball team scored 82 points and restricted the visiting Marion County Warriors to 50 in the Yellowjackets non-league victory on Saturday.

The Yellowjackets now sport a 9-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Van Buren County for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 17. Grundy County will battle a Eagles team coming off a 64-58 non-league win over Jackson County (Gainesboro, TN). The Eagles record now stands at 6-6.

The Warriors (6-12) will now prepare for their contest against Bledsoe County (Pikeville, TN). The Warriors come into the non-league contest with a 5-6 record.
