California High School Basketball - Mission San Jose can't hold off Irvington

The Irvington Vikings basketball team scored 49 points and held the host Mission San Jose Warriors to 42 in the Vikings league triumph on Saturday.
The Vikings now sport a 6-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Washington for a Mission Valley contest on Tuesday, January 17. Irvington will battle a Huskies team coming off a 83-41 league win over American (Fremont, CA). The Huskies record now stands at 7-10.
The Warriors (7-11) will now prepare for their contest against Newark Memorial (Newark, CA). The Cougars enter the Mission Valley contest with a 6-11 record. In their last contest, Newark Memorial was nudged by James Logan (Union City, CA), 88-70, in a league contest.
