California High School Basketball - Mission San Jose can't hold off Irvington

The Irvington Vikings basketball team scored 52 points and held the visiting Mission San Jose Warriors to 49 in the Vikings league triumph on Friday.
The Vikings now sport a 11-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Washington for a Mission Valley contest on Wednesday, February 8. Irvington will battle a Huskies team coming off a 41-37 league win over American (Fremont, CA). The Huskies record now stands at 13-11.
The Warriors (7-17) will now prepare for their contest against Newark Memorial (Newark, CA). The Cougars enter the Mission Valley contest with a 6-18 record. In their last contest, Newark Memorial was nudged by James Logan (Union City, CA), 94-67, in a league contest.
