Georgia High School Basketball - Monroe Area trounces Loganville

The Monroe Area Purple Hurricanes (Monroe, GA) basketball crushed the visiting Loganville Red Devils (Loganville, GA), 75-51 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Purple Hurricanes (13-2) will now prepare for their test against Rabun Gap-Nacoochee (Rabun Gap, GA). The Eagles go into the non-league test with a 15-5 record. In their last test, Rabun Gap-Nacoochee walloped Legion Collegiate Academy (Rock Hill, SC), 72-45, in a non-league test.
The Red Devils now own a 5-13 record. They play next when they travel to Eastside for a AAAAA Region 8 test on Tuesday, January 17. Loganville will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 49-43 non-league win over Morgan County (Madison, GA). The Eagles record now stands at 15-2.
