In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Monroe Area Purple Hurricanes (Monroe, GA) basketball squad edged the host Loganville Red Devils (Loganville, GA), by a count of 58-54.
The Purple Hurricanes (2-0) will now prepare for their outing against Apalachee (Winder, GA). The Wildcats go into the non-league outing with a 2-6 record. In their last outing, Apalachee was tipped by Dunwoody (Dunwoody, GA), 59-46, in a non-league outing.
