The Montoursville Warriors basketball team scored 55 points and held the visiting Mifflinburg Wildcats to 33 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Warriors now sport a 5-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Loyalsock Township for a non-league contest on Monday, January 16. Montoursville will battle a Lancers team coming off a 51-50 non-league loss to Mount Carmel (Mount Carmel, PA). The Lancers record now stands at 5-3.

The Wildcats (9-5) will now prepare for their contest against Danville (Danville, PA). The Ironmen enter the Heartland II contest with a 9-3 record. In their last contest, Danville triumphed over Central Columbia (Bloomsburg, PA), 58-54, in a non-league contest.
