The Mifflinburg Wildcats basketball team scored 72 points and held the visiting Montoursville Warriors to 66 in the Wildcats league triumph on Tuesday.

The Wildcats now sport a 12-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Danville for a Heartland II contest on Friday, February 3. Mifflinburg will battle a Ironmen team coming off a 57-53 non-league win over Central Columbia (Bloomsburg, PA). The Ironmen record now stands at 13-4.

The Warriors (7-12) will now prepare for their contest against Lewisburg (Lewisburg, PA). The Green Dragons enter the Heartland II contest with a 12-6 record. In their last contest, Lewisburg nudged Midd-West (Middleburg, PA), 59-30, in a non-league contest.
