In Saturday's league outing, the Milton Black Panthers (Milton, PA) basketball squad edged the host Shikellamy Braves (Sunbury, PA), by a count of 61-60.

The Black Panthers (6-5) will now prepare for their outing against Shamokin Area (Coal Township, PA). The Indians go into the Heartland I outing with a 10-3 record. In their last outing, Shamokin Area was tipped by Selinsgrove (Selinsgrove, PA), 42-41, in a league outing.

The Braves now hold a 4-9 record. They play next when they host Jersey Shore for a Heartland I outing on Wednesday, January 18. Shikellamy will clash with a Bulldogs squad coming off a 59-57 non-league loss to Warrior Run (Turbotville, PA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-10.
