Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Sloan-Hendrix Greyhounds (Imboden, AR) and the host South Side Hornet (Bee Branch, AR), saw Sloan-Hendrix's basketball squad wallop South Side by a count of 75-41.

With the victory, Sloan-Hendrix upgrades its record to 19-2 on the campaign. The Greyhounds host Cedar Ridge (Newark, AR) to play the Timberwolves in a 2A Region 2 challenge on Wednesday, January 18. The Timberwolves come into the challenge with a record of 13-6. Cedar Ridge won 79-71 in their recent league challenge against Quitman (Quitman, AR)

Next up, the Hornet play the Izard County Cougars (Brockwell, AR) in a 2A Region 2 challenge, on Saturday, January 28. South Side will attempt to upgrade on its 10-14 season record.
