Sloan-Hendrix Greyhounds (Imboden, AR) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting South Side Hornet (Bee Branch, AR), 76-37 in a league bout.

With the win, Sloan-Hendrix upgrades its record to 12-2 on the season. The Greyhounds travel to Cedar Ridge (Newark, AR) to play the Timberwolves in a 2A Region 2 bout on Saturday, December 10. The Timberwolves go into the bout with a record of 4-2. Cedar Ridge won 68-44 in their recent league bout against Quitman (Quitman, AR)

Next up, the Hornet play the Concord Pirates (Concord, AR) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 8. South Side will attempt to upgrade on its 7-8 season record. The Pirates go into the bout with a 11-2 record after their 53-49 non-league win over Bald Knob (Bald Knob, AR).
