Colorado High School Basketball - Bayfield overwhelmed by Centauri

The Bayfield Wolverines basketball team (Bayfield, CO), was overwhelmed 61-17 in Saturday's league battle with the visiting Centauri Falcons (La Jara, CO)

The Falcons now possess a 9-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Montezuma-Cortez for a 4A/3A Intermountain battle on Friday, January 20. Centauri will confront a Panthers team coming off a 74-30 league loss to Alamosa (Alamosa, CO). The Panthers record now stands at 3-5.

The Wolverines (2-5) will now prepare for their battle against Ignacio (Ignacio, CO). The Bobcats come into the 4A/3A Intermountain battle with a 6-4 record. In their last battle, Ignacio was overwhelmed by Pagosa Springs (Pagosa Springs, CO), 49-41, in a league battle.
