Colorado High School Basketball - Centauri trounces Bayfield

The Centauri Falcons (La Jara, CO) basketball crushed the visiting Bayfield Wolverines (Bayfield, CO), 71-8 in Friday's league test.

The Falcons (14-2) will now prepare for their test against Montezuma-Cortez (Cortez, CO). The Panthers go into the 4A/3A Intermountain test with a 4-8 record. In their last test, Montezuma-Cortez was trounced by Alamosa (Alamosa, CO), 64-23, in a league test.

The Wolverines now own a 3-11 record. They play next when they host Ignacio for a 4A/3A Intermountain test on Saturday, February 4. Bayfield will encounter a Bobcats squad coming off a 32-29 league loss to Pagosa Springs (Pagosa Springs, CO). The Bobcats record now stands at 7-7.
