Illinois High School Basketball - Jacksonville can't hold off Sacred Heart-Griffin

The Sacred Heart-Griffin Cyclones basketball team scored 41 points and held the host Jacksonville Crimsons to 34 in the Cyclones league triumph on Saturday.
The Cyclones now sport a 16-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Decatur Eisenhower for a Central State Eight contest on Tuesday, January 17. Sacred Heart-Griffin will battle a Panthers team coming off a 54-39 league loss to Springfield (Springfield, IL). The Panthers record now stands at 3-15.
The Crimsons (6-17) will now prepare for their contest against Lanphier (Springfield, IL). The Lions enter the Central State Eight contest with a 2-15 record.
