The Monroeville Eagles basketball team (Monroeville, OH), was nudged 27-23 in Saturday's league battle with the visiting Mapleton Mounties (Ashland, OH)
The Mounties now sport a 4-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to New London for a Firelands battle on Thursday, January 19.
The Eagles (2-5) will now prepare for their battle against Crestview (Ashland, OH). The Cougars come into the Firelands battle with a 4-9 record.
