Nebraska High School Basketball - McCook topped by Minden

January 14, 2023: McCook, NE 69001

The Minden Whippets basketball team scored 43 points and restricted the host McCook Bison to 25 in the Whippets non-league victory on Saturday.

The Whippets now sport a 11-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Paul for a C1 District 9 contest on Tuesday, January 17. Minden will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 49-31 non-league loss to Boone Central (Albion, NE). The Wildcats record now stands at 5-7.

The Bison (4-7) will now prepare for their contest against Lexington (Lexington, NE). The Minutemen come into the B District 7 contest with a 0-13 record. In their last contest, Lexington was defeated by Alliance (Alliance, NE), 48-21, in a non-league contest.
