Nebraska High School Basketball - Minden over McCook

January 24, 2023: Minden, NE 68959

Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Minden Whippets (Minden, NE) and the visiting McCook Bison (McCook, NE), saw Minden's basketball squad overcome McCook by a tally of 48-37.

With the victory, Minden improves its record to 14-3 on the campaign. The Whippets travel to Broken Bow (Broken Bow, NE) to play the Indians in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 27. The Indians come into the challenge with a record of 9-4. Broken Bow won 52-43 in their recent non-league challenge against Ainsworth (Ainsworth, NE)

Next up, the Bison play the Holdrege Dusters (Holdrege, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 26. McCook will attempt to improve on its 5-9 season record. The Dusters come into the challenge with a 5-13 record after their 50-32 non-league loss to Gothenburg (Gothenburg, NE).
