The Tri-Valley Vikings (Downs, IL) basketball felled the host Ridgeview Mustangs (Colfax, IL), 49-33 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Vikings (12-6) will now prepare for their test against LeRoy (LeRoy, IL). The Panthers go into the non-league test with a 13-10 record. In their last test, LeRoy went down by Eureka (Eureka, IL), 51-26, in a non-league test.
The Mustangs now own a 9-14 record. They play next when they host Tremont for a Heart Of Illinois test on Monday, January 23. Ridgeview will encounter a Turks squad coming off a 46-27 league loss to Deer Creek-Mackinaw (Mackinaw, IL). The Turks record now stands at 15-6.
