Sandusky Blue Streaks (Sandusky, OH) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Vermilion Sailors (Vermilion, OH), 61-35 in a league bout.

With the win, Sandusky upgrades its record to 3-12 on the season. The Blue Streaks host Columbian (Tiffin, OH) to play the Tornadoes in a Sandusky Bay - Lake bout on Thursday, January 19. The Tornadoes go into the bout with a record of 6-8. Columbian won 59-57 in their recent non-league bout against Wynford (Bucyrus, OH)

Next up, the Sailors play the Clyde Fliers (Clyde, OH) in a Sandusky Bay - Lake bout, on Thursday, January 19. Vermilion will attempt to upgrade on its 3-13 season record. The Fliers go into the bout with a 5-9 record after their 47-43 league loss to Norwalk (Norwalk, OH).
