West Fork Warhawks (Sheffield, IA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting St. Ansgar Saints (St. Ansgar, IA), 49-46 in a league bout.

With the win, West Fork upgrades its record to 12-0 on the season. The Warhawks travel to Northwood-Kensett (Northwood, IA) to clash with the Vikings in a Corn Bowl bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 5-8. Northwood-Kensett lost 61-39 in their recent league bout against St. Ansgar (St. Ansgar, IA)

Next up, the Saints clash with the Northwood-Kensett Vikings (Northwood, IA) in a Corn Bowl bout, on Monday, January 16. St. Ansgar will attempt to upgrade on its 9-4 season record. The Vikings go into the bout with a 5-7 record after their 38-19 league win over Nashua-Plainfield (Nashua, IA).
