West Fork Warhawks (Sheffield, IA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host St. Ansgar Saints (St. Ansgar, IA), 50-31 in a league bout.

With the win, West Fork upgrades its record to 16-0 on the season. The Warhawks host North Butler (Greene, IA) to play the Bearcats in a Corn Bowl bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Bearcats go into the bout with a record of 4-14. North Butler lost 46-30 in their recent non-league bout against Charles City (Charles City, IA)

Next up, the Saints play the Crestwood Cadets (Cresco, IA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 30. St. Ansgar will attempt to upgrade on its 12-6 season record.
