The Beecher Bobcats (Beecher, IL) basketball edged the host Momence Momence Athletics (Momence, IL), 65-59 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Bobcats now possess a 11-7 record. They play next when they travel to Clifton Central for a River Valley bout on Friday, January 17. Beecher will play a Comets team coming off a 61-49 non-league loss to Manteno (Manteno, IL). The Comets record now stands at 12-7.

With the loss, Momence falls to 8-8 on the campaign. The Momence athletics host St. Anne (St. Anne, IL) to play the Cardinals in a River Valley bout on Friday, January 17. The Cardinals go into the bout with a record of 14-5. St. Anne won 78-32 in their recent league bout against Gardner-South Wilmington (Gardner, IL)
