Carlisle County Comets (Bardwell, KY) supporters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Hickman County Falcons (Clinton, KY), 62-25 in a league match.

With the victory, Carlisle County advances its record to 8-7 on the year. The Comets travel to Mayfield (Mayfield, KY) to face the Cardinals in a non-league match on Friday, January 17. The Cardinals enter the match with a record of 11-2. Mayfield won 81-44 in their recent non-league match against Community Christian (Paducah, KY)

The Falcons now own a 3-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Murray for a non-league match on Friday, January 17.
