Kentucky High School Basketball - Carlisle County overwhelms Hickman County

The Carlisle County Comets basketball team scored 57 points and limited the host Hickman County Falcons to 32 in the Comets league triumph on Friday.

The Comets now possess a 9-9 record. They play next when they host Fulton County for a District 1 game on Tuesday, January 28. Carlisle County will confront a Pilots team coming off a 68-49 league win over Fulton City (Fulton, KY). The Pilots record now stands at 4-11.

With the loss, Hickman County falls to 3-9 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Trigg County (Cadiz, KY) to confront the Wildcats in a non-league game on Saturday, January 25. The Wildcats go into the game with a record of 5-9. Trigg County lost 82-51 in their recent non-league game against Mayfield (Mayfield, KY)
